#208561 Lennox G8D2-82-3 Furnace

Posted by kdog on 20 September 2011 - 12:07 AM

If the thermocouple were bad, the pilot would go out - that's an old draft furnace like mine with a cast iron heat exchanger - parts inavailability will be the demise of these - if it's not coming on, see if someone hasn't shut off the switch (follow the powerwire), or a wire has come off the transformer from the thermostat (some thermostats have heat/cool switches inside them)

#208542 lg dryer dle7177wm shorted out...

Posted by kdog on 19 September 2011 - 07:23 PM

Is there a way to test the mainboard?

Yes, test the power at the wires going into the board from the powercord - if you get 120 volts to the board, its bad

#208540 GE gts22kcmbrww goes warm then cold every 24 hours

OK so now you need to determine wether there is 120 volts being sent to the compressor wires at the time it is refusing to run, if not - Controller; If you do have 120, then you likely have a bad start relay

#208388 One down next problem Leak from bottom Pan MDB4000AWB

Posted by kdog on 18 September 2011 - 01:29 AM

You might be able to harden up on the plastic element nuts enough to stop the leak, but it's simple enough to just remove the element and put new seals between tub and element

#208199 Kitchen aide KSCS25FKSS01 Ice chute Door not closing all the way

Posted by kdog on 15 September 2011 - 02:11 AM

Depends if the doors pivoting pins are still intact - if so, the first kit'll do ya
If one of the pins has bust, then you need the second kit with the metal plate

If you press "Cancel" and "Cook and Hold" simultaneously for 3 seconds it will enable/disable the Child lockout feature Which results in the displays and locking that you describe - Could be that cooking grease vapors have invaded the touchpad and is causing shorts in the keytails

No tech sheet on behind bottom front panel... :(

I wonder what happens to all those "missing" tech sheets - only ones I ever saw missing were the ones that were "taken" - must be those Gnomes again :kopkrab:
