#208034 Frigidaire front load won't final spin

Posted by kdog on 12 September 2011 - 11:55 PM

No tech sheet on behind bottom front panel... :(

I wonder what happens to all those "missing" tech sheets - only ones I ever saw missing were the ones that were "taken" - must be those Gnomes again :kopkrab:

#207489 Lost Necklace in Washer - Whirlpool TAWS800JQ0

Posted by kdog on 06 September 2011 - 08:57 PM

May have found it's way into the drain pump where it awaits you to unwind it from around the impeller, or it could be laying in outer tub below the basket

Just need to either turn the coupling a bit by hand, or close the door and press the lever for some crushed ice as it will advance the motor a tad

#207391 Miele w4840 Washer Customization

Posted by kdog on 05 September 2011 - 11:33 PM

You should not change the Country of origin as those Countries also use 220V, 50 Hz. supplies - Miele Technicians carry the Interface Rig
All of the adjustments can be made by manual input, unless programs have been reflashed from factory ($$$)
Those heaters, being 120V, are not nearly as effective as the 240V predecessors (or the smaller versions)
P/M'd 2 other documents (which are now in "Kool Stuff")

#207212 Problem with Icemaker 106.50592003

Posted by kdog on 03 September 2011 - 08:09 PM

You can test the valve by energizing the coil with a cheater cord (this is done behind fridge), no voltage across V-N is inconclusive; Measure Line(L) - V (Valve)

Icemaker sends power to valve, if no power = Icemaker if power but no water = Water off or bad Valve

#207192 Dishwasher refills wihle draining or drying DWU7402AAB

00748556.jpgIf you are certain the knob is not stripped, or has somehow been forced on 180 degrees outta whack - it can only be the timer

#207128 Kitchenaid Glass Cooktop KECC562 Burner not working

Posted by kdog on 02 September 2011 - 02:14 PM

Gonna need to Lift the unit out of the Cubby, remove the knobs and screws around the outer perimeter and lift the glass top off to access components

Could be that one part of the element has failed, or the switch that controls it - elements can be ohm'd out

Yes, if nothing is jamming the pump impeller, then the pump is shot
