Whirlpool Calypso washer eats clothes

12 December 2010 - 12:08 PM

I have a Whirlpool Calypso washer model GVW9959KY1 that keeps getting clothes caught under the nutate plate (agitator?) The gasket around the edge seems to be in good shape, and I can't imagine how the clearance between it and the tub have changed. Has anyone else had this problem? How did they solve it? I can work the clothes out most of the time, but I've had to remove the plate to free the clothes several times, and this is getting old.

Master Samurai,

I would much appreciate tech/repair manuals for the following:

Viking DFSB483 Ice Maker leaking

08 September 2010 - 03:28 PM

My Viking DFSB483 Ice Maker is leaking. Most of the time this lead to icebergs, but sometimes water makes it to the floor. This icemaker has been replaced twice under warranty, but the warranty is now expired. Is there something better than the original Viking junk? Is there a service manual available to help guide me in replacing it?

Bosch SHV6803 dishwasher

10 April 2010 - 07:26 AM

I have a Bosch SHV6803 that has poor circulation. The circulation pump runs. I can turn the impeller easily. I can't find any clogs or debris. The pump barely pushes water 2 inches out of the lower spray arm and nothing out of the top spray arm or nozzle.
