LG Washer stops mid-cycle WM2031HR

18 December 2014 - 09:43 PM

Customer states that the washer will stop mid-cycle and will not do anything. They can unplug the unit and plug it back in and it continues the cycle as normal. I am thinking controller but don't do a lot of LG work. Wanted to chime in and see if this is a common problem.

Thanks ahead of time.

KEBS209BS01 Double Oven Blower Noise

26 November 2014 - 12:44 PM

Just bought this new double oven for the wifey. Got her all mounted and plugged in and fired up. There is almost a whistling sound coming from the lower blower. Pulled it back out and made sure none of the duct work was bent.

This is for all you WP warranty guys. Is there a known noise problem from the lower blower on these? Is there a pointer out for a wheel update or duct work update? I did some internet searching and seems a quite a few people have complained about the noise level of the fan but that specifically said a "whirling" or "whistling" sound.

Thanks ahead,

Whirlpool compressor

06 October 2014 - 08:47 PM

Anyone ever see a 2 year old machine with a compressor this rusted out and deteriorated. It was rusted so bad the the pin is gone and refrigerant had leaked out the hole.

Fisher & Paykel DD605 DishDrawer not finishing cycle

16 September 2014 - 07:43 PM

Got a unit that has been kicking my butt for a couple days. First went out on the call that the bottom drawer will not drain. Went through all diagnostics and everything passed. Tried three different test runs and unit drained fine every time. Pulled the filters out and the rotor and nothing in there. Thinking maybe there was a clog that finally pushed out, I left and told them to call me if problem persisted. Two days later, same problem. Unit gets stuck on rinse cycle and will not drain( about 15 minutes left on timer).

Scotsman Ice Maker DCE33A

28 July 2014 - 08:30 PM

Going out on an Scotsman ice maker call tomorrow. Never worked on one of these before. Customer is complaining that the ice is melting faster than it is making it. I assume the average 30 minute cycle applies and i will check to make sure all of the cubes are falling. Just wanted to see if there are any common things to check with these units that other techs may have seen.

Thanks ahead of time for any input.
