It appears to be centered ... and plenty long enough.

My best guess santa is that on the leaking side, the gasket feels (though unnoticeable to the eye) that it's slightly smashed (maybe one my kids - or me) shut the door, and something was pinched b/n the door and gasket. That's my best guess now.

I'll investigate further.

Thanks for the advice willie. i've never taken apart a dishwasher ... not really looking forward to it.

It does make some strange whining noises now and again. A number of the tines on the racks have broken off. The access panel doesn't stay in place too well, so I guess I've been watching it die slowly. But you're right, if it's just a hose, that would seem worth it.

As far as I know, we are mouse free.

Anything I should know (tips/secrets) to getting to the under carriage??? First timer going underneath a dishwasher.

In Topic: Tappan Range Model 30-3860-00/01

Old range ... new problem.

My range had issues before. I was told to replace the EOC, but couldn't find one easily. I actually prayed that God would make it work a while longer, and it worked (for about 6 months).

Now, when I turn my oven, say set the baking temp to 350, it starts to warm up quickly, but then for no reason turns off.

Any clues?

We have lots of baking to do in the next few days. I can get a new one put in, but that's not cheap.
