Have you seen magnetrons fail within two years?  I had mine replaced last time around at a shop.






I've seen a loose connection at the magnetron terminals that gave the appearance the magnetron was failing several times...

I suspect the hot wire was connected poorly and came loose causing arcing and the meltdown but I'm not 100% sure of that.  What else should I check before I replace the terminal block and hook the washer back up to power?

Loose connections will overheat and burn. I would not over-think this one too much and simply replace the terminal block and connectors.

Check for insulation breakdown in the HV section, especially in the wires to the magnetron, could be arcing to the case and tripping the ckt bkr. Have seen that more than once.
