If heater fuse is open on lower tub, upper tub will give leak error, not both. Neither drawer will operate as I said above-- was able to look it up.

Double check your door switches, they will often send you send you on a wild goose chase...

P.S. I asked about the door links, because if they had been replaced, there is a good chance the door free-feel in the past, damaging those hinges...

As you have already suggested, it could besomething to do with the door switch. Either the door switch itself,or somehing like bent hinges pushing the door open mid-cycle. jiggle the door a bit while the dishwasher is running to see how easily the machine stops as a result. Have the spring links to the hinge ever been replaced? Will the machine complete a cycle if a chair is propped up against the door? Will the machine drain if you jumper out the door switch? The answers might point you in the right direction...

One thing that really drives me crazy is when GE leaves part numbers off their parts look ups, they will have a picture, with an item number and no part number for that item number.

On the latest and greatest dishwasher (sorry, no model number from vactaion location) There is a small hose that links the diverter to the wash motor using factory crimped clamps, the part is not on the parts list and it has failed (splt) twice in two weeks... had to call GE for the kit number...
