Symptoms of a 240VAC range only getting 120VAC. Check your terminal block connections where the cord attaches to the range (again), the plug and the outlet. Use voltage meter to determine where you are loosing power.

I see that these boards cost around $500 each.

 

Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting? What "special tool" would I need?

 

 

I HATE working on these, the tech sheet is basically saying replace each board until you find the one that makes it work again.

The "special tool" was included with the board that required it, a fancy pair of tweezers to pull the tiny connectors off of the board... which I didn't need or use...

 

OK to throw $500 parts at it when it is in warranty, but a different story when the customer is paying for the repair...

Yep, flat ignitor, but aftermarket?

ALL flat ignitors made by same company, so that shouldn't be an issue
