FRS6HR5HB1 Frigidaire Refrigerator Dispenser Flap Help.

03 June 2014 - 07:35 AM

The ice dispenser flapper is not closing properly.  Took it apart and the spring was off, the plastic housing was broken, gears were stripped on the plastic piece etc.  Bought new housing, put everything back into new housing.  Bought new part with the gear.  I cannot seem to figure out how this thing goes back together.  Well I have it together but the flapper does not close properly.  It's very possible I don't have the spring on right or the spring is worn out.

A diagram or something showing how this all goes back together would be very helpful.

FRS6HR5HB1 New Control Wiring Harness Does Not Fit.

24 May 2014 - 06:52 AM

Had a bad control board on this unit yesterday.  According to several sites, including repairclicic.com, the part number has been changed to Part number: 241739712

Part number: 241739712

.  241739712 looks identical to the original except the wiring harness DOES NOT FIT.  It's like the harness is turned upside down from the original.  Where there should be a square is a square with an oval type shape at the top, etc.

What to do?

Does anyone know how and where part # 52 attaches to the tub/cabinet?  I'm going behind another company and they took these off and never reconnected them.  Now the tub shakes violently.

Kenmore (Bosch) 630.13919010 Dishwasher

Dang thing has an intermittent problem.

Once you select cycle and close door it'll drain (normal).  After the drain if it starts filling with water it'll work.  After the drain if it doesn't start filling with water it will say cycle complete and beep like a completed cycle.  I've replace the main control and the touch panel.  After replacing the main control I started the cycle 3 times before leaving the customers house, all good.  Got a call later saying it's doing the same thing again.

I don't have a clue.

Loose wire in a wiring harness?

Service Manual would be nice if anyone has one.

Went on a call today where before I got there felt sure it needed a new drain pump.  Here's the deal:

Unit will drain, then stop, then start to drain again, then stop, then drain some more, etc.

Customer says at some point it will give ND error code (No Drain).  Or it may eventually start spinning.

Today while I was there it went through that same scenario, then after it stopped and did nothing for about 2 minutes it started to spin.

While draining I looked at the hose while it was sending water down the house drain and the water pressure was very strong.  There doesn't seem to be any problem with the drain.

What part on this unit senses whether there is water in the tub or not?I 'm thinking this may be the problem? Is it different than the pressure switch?  The pressure switch seems to work for filling the washer.

Stumped.  Please help.
