WP idle pully squick

20 February 2014 - 03:10 PM

WP Dryer,LER7646 JQ0
Installed a dryer kit, rollers, belt , Supco roller idler pulley.
New Supco roller idler pulley makes a squick noise with drum full of laundry.
Old style idler pulley is the none rolling half moon friction style pulley , but makes no noise.
Do I need to install the original " half moon" style idler back into this dryer to insure noise free operation?

Weil-McLain oil boiler P-WTGO-4 water recirculation motor runs on

05 July 2013 - 06:09 PM

The hot water recirculation motor drones on for long periods ,  before and after the boiler fires up.

This electric powered water recirculation motor is mounted on the top right corner a few inches above the boiler. It is wired to the main power off-on switch as is the Beckett oil blower.

I can't figure out why this motor runs sometimes for hours , then shuts off, to do it again later. I don't know what controls this motor.

Is this normal? or What can I check?

This boiler heats my house hot water and floor board radiators for house heat. (house thermostats currently  off for the summer)

Thanks all !

With things changing around here thought I should chime in.

I wanted to say thanks for this forum. I hope you ( Samari)make a good return and enjoy the friends you make.
I am a lifetime member and feel I have received much more in return. Not only in tech help( that is worth money) but in moral support .
Many of you know I became an above average appliance tinker, and part timer looking to go full time. The support I received here was/is incredible.

Thanks all!

Manuel please.

This fridge has 30*F on top of the ice maker, ...40*F in the middle of fresh food side.

No ice is being made was the complaint. ( its too hot in the freezer for the ice machine to cycle)

WP Direct Drive Washer

20 June 2011 - 02:27 PM

Recieved a call to work on a WP DD washer with locked up drum.

The complaint is the drum is locked up and will not turn even by hand. Its also full of water, ( I'll pump or pinch hoses as needed).

I have to travel by skiff (boat). I plan on taking a good DD transmission with me for parts/replacement.

Are there any other parts that might need to bring?

I don't want to get over to this island and forget something simple I should have brought.
