Yes I need a service manual.  Is this most likely a sensor or something more mechanical?  I am a shade tree mechanic and weekend home repair guy.  As well as some light appliance repair.  I haven't accessed the bottom of the unit, but since everything works at times or can be overridden, I am hoping it is just a sensor or something easy to replace.

Thanks

Also, when in test mode, all the lights were displayed.  And there was an "SE" in the timer window.

OK.  I got it into test mode.  I was trying to set it when in a dry mode.  I tried it with it all shut down and it worked.  The code that was displayed was "SE".  I put a wet paper towel against the sensor bars and they beeped and the display flashed.  So they are fine I suppose.

So, is it the thermister?

Is that difficult to replace?

Thanks

Gary

Well, I can't seem to get it to go into test mode.  I did as you instructed and when I open the door it doesn't do anything.  Is there some setting that I need to adjust before hitting the more/less time button sequence?

The model number is 110.64082201.

The washer was the u-joint and most likely the levelor.
