frigidaire d/w #pld2855rfc1 water level

18 July 2014 - 10:55 AM

hi guys. this is a 6 year old unit. the water just covers the bottom of the sump. its not even close to the element ,i think this is normal for these newer d/w , am i correct? the heating element was reading 15.6 ohms .is this low. i know their all different but i felt it should be at least 20 ohms.the problem was the HO code was comming on and it was taking foever to wash. i found the wire at the high limit was badly burnt so i'm replacing the high limit and putting on a new terminal. i joined the two hi limit leads and started a cycle , the element did come on but i don't think as hot as it should be .  i could touch it but not for to long mabey 2 seconds.also the water leaving the tap was only 118 f. we turned it up to 130 f. i realize its normal for the HO to come on to bring the water up to temp ,but it was comming on and the element would never get hot. i am going to replace the element as well. what are your thoughts please and thank you?

hi. customer complained clothes still wet after spin. my findings were that the unit will agitate, drain fine, but when it gets to spin ,the spin light comes on ,the door lock light is out. I waited a good 15 min , no change, but if I press start button again the door lock light comes on and the washer will spin fine and complete the cycle..the door lock light does come on during agitate.bad board? does agitate and spin  function through the lid switch?
