GE Washer

09 January 2015 - 10:29 PM

I'm trying to investigate a loud noise from a GE washer, mod. #WVSR1060G8WW

Sounds like a train when unit is in wash mode. No weird noise in spin.

I'm thinking an agitator belt.

Any suggestions?

How do I dismantel this washer for further investigation?

Thank You!

Kenmore Washer Leaking

09 January 2015 - 10:19 PM

I have a Kenmore, front loading washer mod.#796.40311900

Purchased in 2010

It appears a leak has acured. Water is noticable on a wood platform, under the washer, left side, facing it.

I have cleaned the inlet filters as well as the pump motor filter (front left hatch)

I also noticed that the single handle valve has a small leak around the handle (which I will replace).

With this isolated there is still water under the washer.

What am I in for?

Do the side panels come off? If so, How?

I need to investigate this further.

Thank You!

GE XL44 Gas Range Self clean not working!

10 January 2012 - 06:52 PM

I have a GE XL44 Self Cleaning Gas Range.

The self cleaning portion does not work.

Burners and oven do work, and the door does lock.
Timer starts but oven does not heat up.

Let me know where to start!

Thank You!
