In Topic: Liberty LBP200 no pilot ignition with combustion fan running.

Thanks for all the assistance! not.

I had a plumber fix it for $270.00. The pilot orifice needed to be cleaned, and the pilot flame and igniter needed alignment tweeking.

The reason I used the term "sabotage" in the origional post is because my dirt bag step daughter had her dirt bag journerman electrician boy friend mess up the wiring for the pumps so that either thermostat would turn on both upstairs, and downstairs pumps earlier this summer. Why would they do that you ask? Because that is what hateful people do for fun!!

In Topic: Hotpoint WLW3700R washer transmission oil leak. Are they worth repairing?

26 June 2013 - 07:35 PM

The part number for the transmission is WH38X53, and it is discontinued. If it was me on a service call I would advise them to run it until it quits and then buy another washer.

I very much appreciate your wise words of wisdom, and also the part number.  I will do some pricing on the transmission, and relay your advice to the relatives.

In Topic: No drain, SUD code, drain pump hum, Kenmore model 110.44832 200 HE3t,

15 October 2012 - 12:53 PM

Update: The pump had 127 VAC applied during Drain/Spin, I cleared all the drain lines from the tub boot to the wall, removed the pump and attached an appliance cord. The pump vibrates. but doesn't spin. Even reversing the polarity didn't make the impeller spin! Looks like a new drain pump is in order. I greatly appreciate all the assistance!

Thank you much for the quick response!!
I will check for 110V at the pump, and then check for blockage in the drain line from the pump up to the wall. I had taken the pump off, but didn't notice any blockage in the impeller area. The strainer had caught a bra underwire but no real blockage. Will keep you posted. Thank You for the wisdom O Wiise One!!
