I've been a master electrician since 1975. Self employed since 1981. Business started as residential appliance service and electrical service. In 1985 i got into commercial appliance service and A/C / Refrigeration service. In the 90's when the appliance junkers started coming out i started to migrate away from residential appliance service. " Boy do i miss the old solid dependable appliances" Anybody remember the days of $40 repairs and very happy customers? I myself have a GE washer/dryer set from 1976, WWA,DDE models, i've put a belt on the dryer and just last year rebuilt the washer, bottom up. It was $500 worth of parts but far better than $800 piece of crap washer made today.
