Kitchen Aid Refrigerator KSSP48QHS00

12 March 2015 - 10:47 AM

Hello.. Anyone know where the thermistor in the refrigerator section is hidden?

I have a situation where the evaporator fan in a Kitchen Aid Refrigerator KSSP48QHS00 seems to drop power - barely spin and not push air into the fridge section. I put a fridge PC board & defuser kit in, which came with a thermistor. The thermistor, based on the parts illustration (refrigerator liner parts) should go somewhere in the midsection of the fridge liner behind perhaps a small cover. I have cleaned my glasses and 2 of us have searched throughout the inside of the fridge. We can't find it. I was unable to locate a tech manual in download section. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Sub Zero Model 700TCI refrigerator water line to ice maker

25 August 2014 - 10:54 PM

Need to change water line from water valve to ice make in Sub Zero 700TCI. Freezer on the bottom. Small tube goes from water valve then into freezer area wall, and then somehow connects to ice maker spout.  Service manual I have doesn't seem to address this. Wondering if anyone has experience with this or could offer guidance, tips, hints...

thank you

Thermador oven C271ZS F25 error approx. 15 minutes after baking complete

03 June 2014 - 11:03 PM

Would anyone have an idea why a Thermador wall oven m# C271ZS  would show an F25 error about 15 minutes after baking complete and unit turned off.  Seems to be happening intermittently. Turning off circuit breaker resets.

Kenmore Refrigerator 106.56232400 frosting

29 January 2014 - 11:45 AM

We have encountered a difficult Kenmore Refrigerator 106.56232400 that continues to frost up in the upper third of the freezer section leading to the vents closing off due to frost/ice, resulting in a warm refrigerator side. At first glance we suspected warm air entering the freezer, but can find no source for warm air. The flap in the ice chute is working and sealing properly. The door seals look and test good. The evaporator has a good pattern, the thermistor and defrost heater are good and it appears to be defrosting, but the drain was clogged with ice that melted periodically on the kitchen floor. We thought about air enter from the drain tube. The ice maker is not connect to a water supply ( no water drips ) but it is totally covered in frost. We learned after being called back that other technicians have tried to solve this machine's issues.  Your thoughts, ideas or guidance will be appreciated.

DCS commerical range parts resource

20 December 2013 - 11:45 AM

Would anyone know of a resource for DCS commerical range parts. Specifically model 72-36G6-2n. I called DCS/Fisher P.., they gave me a number which turned out to be Marcone. Called Marcone. They said they don't sell DCS parts and, by the way only sell F-P parts to certain accounts. ?? Your thoughts..

Thank you.
