Whirpool GB2FHDXWS01 Bottom Freezer No defrost?

24 September 2014 - 08:47 PM

Evap frosted over. Whats the procedure to manually initate defrost mode?. Heater ohms good, Defrost thermo ohms good. Unplug modules and replug. I think it needs a Jazz board but still need to know the defrost procedure. I shut off the unit at the Control board and defrosted the evap coil and while that was happening the compressor started running but it was only as I was finishing, but no evap fan running  till I pressed the FF plus button on the control. I'm still thinking the jazz board though. What do ya think?

Wpl double w/o KEBC208KSS02 control panel fusible link.

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows the heat value of the fusible link at the control panel on this wall oven. It opened and I'm thinking the reason is too much heat but usually the  hi-limit  opens due to fan issues.Thanx
