It does have old round thermistors in it.  Thanks for the info on checking the fan motors.  Could someone tell me what wires on what plug i would use to check the condensor fan motor?  Also what wires on what plugs to ohm out the thermistors?

the board i installed was wr55x10942.  Compressor was running before I changed the evap fan, not sure about the condensor fan, I think so though.

I looked at this one again today.  The ice cubes in the top are melting.  When you press the dispenser a little bit of water comes out before the ice and it is not from the water dispenser.  it is from the ice bin and there is even a little bit of water in some of the cubes.  The cubes are chunked together because of this melting as well.  Any insight into this problem would be much appreciated.

I believe the damper door is not closing like it is supposed to so that would explain everything freezing in the bottom, including the water line for the bottom ice maker.  I have changed the control board for the ice makers hoping that would get the top icemaker to work.  She says it works again but she says the ice cubes look as though they are melted a little bit.  I ran the diagnostic tests described above and everything mentioned checked ok.  I have not had any experience with the type of ice maker that is in the top and I don't know what to do next.  Could the mold heater be staying on?  If so, what would cause that?

it is moderately loaded.  I do not think the evap fan has been replaced.   Could I insulate that water line with something?  We are only talking about a few inches which is exposed to the inside of the fridge.  Of course that would not address the frozen food in the fresh food section.  Maybe it needs a new thermistor?
