Kenmore Gas Oven Model #362.72321002

12 June 2011 - 12:48 PM

Hello to all,
I have a Kenmore gas oven, model #362.72321002...sometimes the oven lights fine, but a few time here lately, it will make a LOUD bang and light, and I can smell remnants of natural gas...Is this an ignitor issue?...Seems to me if the ignitor was bad, there would be some sort of safety feature that shuts off the gas if the ignitor doesn't light it quick enough...I am uneasy with using the oven until I get this issue fixed...

Any and all help/advise greatly appreciated,
Matt

Frigidaire washing machine making LOUD noises..

02 August 2006 - 01:39 PM

It's an electric washing machine, about 10 years old..Model #FWX233NBS3...During the wash cycle, it sometimes makes a "clickety" or "ratchety" sound, which isn't too bad...

It's when the spin cycle starts, everytime, that it makes a whirring, roaring sound so loud you can't carry on a coversation in the same room...Which I know, cannot be a good thing...

I've been told it is probably a set of bearings, or otherwise, that I could probably handle fixing myself...I've done some digging around in appliances before, not an expert, but no novice either..With proper instructions, I could probably fix this myself, if it's no too technical...Can't afford a repairman at the moment, if you know what I mean...But need the washer to work...Or, need to know if it's fixable, period, w/out having to shell out a bunch of $..

Other than the noise, the machine works just fine...What are YOUR thoughts and opinions on this noise issue?...

I appreciate and will read all thoughts, opinions, advice, etc.,
Matt
