Okay my knowledgeable one. It appears I have a new problem. This has happened three times since I replaced the door switch. Apparently we have gremlins. We will finish a load, and shut the door, power is off. When we come back to the washer, the door is locked (and door lock light lit). The first time, I tried the old, unplug the washer trick you taught me, had to wait about a minute till the lock released, opened the door, and had about a gallon of water fall onto my shoes (the washer was full of water). The next two times, I was much wiser, and set the machine to rinse and spin, which worked. We have since just left the door cracked open. Washer works fine otherwise, washes, rinses, agitates, and spins (water drains). Should I call a priest?

Oh knowledgeable one, I have replaced the door latch switch as per your correct advise, and my washer now spins like a gifted samurai. Your wisdom is only proceeded by your kindness in sharing it. You have no doubt saved my marraige. My wife can resume her duties washing clothes, and I am no longer required to sleep on the couch. I have generously donated 1,000 pennies on your behalf, to the beer fund, in hopes that you will never become sober and realize you are distributing invaluable information for free. I incourage others to double, triple or even quadruple my feeble gift of gratitude. Thank you kind sir, and koudos for the good work for the Easter Seals
