Maytag refrigerator - door gasket/seal for top freezer

29 November 2011 - 10:58 AM

I have model MTF2195AEB (top freezer model). The unit is about 6 years old. A gap on the freezer gasket started to form on the top a couple months ago and now I am seeing a gap on the fridge door (not as bad yet). Are these things replaceable? Can a novice like me do it or do I need a repair professional to fix it?

I think I need to get this fixed pretty soon. The freezer seems like it is running constantly. Plus, I have frozen condensation inside on the top of the freezer ceiling. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!
