In Topic: Subzero 680 evaporator fan freezes

Serial # tag is gone but it is pre 181000 because it has no door open warning chime. The fan is horizontal under the coil. The heaters seem to all be working because during defrost the water thaws and drains from the collector pan with no problem. The terminator is wired as original and the terminator is mounted correctly. I checked the door gaskets and they seem fine. I'm baffled!

I'll run a defrost cycle to check that fan and compressor stop but I'm pretty sure they do. I'm still baffled!

Sorry to be so long getting back to this, I have been fixing lots of other orphan things in the meantime. Wiring diagram # is 3756372 Rev.B. I already decided it is prior to Ser.#1810000. It is R134. The manual for units prior to 1810000 does not include a 680 although the 690 is pretty much the same except for size.
