Many CONSIDER it the worst machine?

IT IS!!!

i would rather work on a calypso the a neptune toploader.  but with that said i still have a skip in my step every time i condemn either of those machines.

try this, when it is in the "spin cycle" but is agitating open and close the lid, if it starts spinning replace the timer

you are correct they do used siphoning, what happens is when it is time to dispense the product water is flushed into the compartment from above the tray and then when it shuts off the remaining water is siphoned out, you need to be sure that there is good water pressure and machine is level and tray is properly assembled for proper dispensing
