#301303 Cabrio inner basket removal tool

Posted by sh2sh2 on 18 August 2014 - 05:21 PM

a trick i have yet to try myself, after accessing the tub, pulling the hub, etc. put the unt into diagnostic mode and into spin and pull up in the basket, supposedly it will almost 'unscrew itself'

i do this but instead of spin i put it in agitate works the basket right off the shaft, you can also fill the tub with water to get some upward lift if it is a really stubborn basket.

#300892 Front-loading Frigidaire FWTR445RFS1 won't spin (after basement flood)

also motor bearings are probably gonna make noise even if you fix it and get it spinning

#300872 LG Washer WM2350HWC Washability

Posted by sh2sh2 on 12 August 2014 - 06:18 PM

dingy whites are a classic symptom of too much detergent, poor wash cycle choices, also ask if customer is using the "normal cycle" or express wash, the normal cycle on most machines is the most efficient cycle so sometimes gives poor results, and express wash or quick washes are often not long enough to wash clothes properly.

the bent prong tool for the inner clamp is because the inner clamp has a hook, you contract the spring and then unhook the spring letting you take it off

#300587 Maytag Bravos MVWB700VQ0 'UL' code

Posted by sh2sh2 on 08 August 2014 - 03:11 PM

if you push down on the basket/tub assembely does bounce like a basket ball or feel pretty stiff, if it bounces easily then you need the suspension

#300528 Whirlpool LER6611LQ0 elect dryer drum/fan not working

Posted by sh2sh2 on 07 August 2014 - 05:18 PM

2 things to do, pull drum and see if motor runs, if that dosent work check the blower wheel for obstructions that would stop the motor, if nothing found the motor is most likely bad
