I always carry a 5 feet length of 1/4 water tubing.boil a kettle of water and place it somewhat higher from where yr blockage is.blow in the pipe and then suck a little and quickly remove your mouth.the syphon you just created works miracles for unblocking drain and also nice for iced over evaporator.wear a glove the pipe gets realy hot. If you are afraid try this first with cold water to learn the trick before you start with hot.

Thanks for your input, but no quite sure how to perform the diagnostics when I see a fridge which is completely quiet, no display at all(see picture in 1st post). Is this the state of the jazz-board you see often and is their anything worthwhile checking be4 I put a new board in at the risk of it burning out again before leaving my customer. I guess that even repairpartpros.com will not replace a board for free if it looks like the one in my picture. I certainly can not in Israel.

Thanks guys for your help, Sorry frost and not ice. I replaced both card and defrost thermostat but was there a simple way of knowing which was causing the problem?

answer my simple question, what causes the tray to flex and release the ice. Is it a stopper-pin on the tray or body of the icemaker or some microswitch. Will try to add some pictures my customer sent me(not very good quality) Thanks Michael[attachment=7769:Mobogenie_20141017_185019.jpg]Attached File  Mobogenie_20141017_184958.jpg   97.79KB   0 downloadsAttached File  Mobogenie_20141017_185033.jpg   96.21KB   0 downloadsAttached File  Mobogenie_20141017_185048.jpg   89.71KB   0 downloads
