Found one manual from the Samurai for the Electric version of this dryer. According to it, the problem lies with the washer not spinning the laundry dry enough or it's simply operator error. It seems as though relieving the stuck door would've fixed the issue. I suppose instead of drying on "normal" they need to choose "more dry" or "very dry." I have advised my clients.

Thanks guys. When I expand model #Gth18gbdww out to Gth18gbdcrww then I can see a complete parts list. Either of these 2 look good. I am leaning towards the GE.

If anyone else has a fridge to suggest please post it.

Thanks. That is what I was thinking too. Didn't know Frigidaire still had a totally mechanical one out there though. That would be great if it wasn't Frigidaire :)

Just want to clarify that there is no visible error code. If there are "stored codes" only retrievable through diagnostic mode I don't know how to get those. There is no tech sheet and this unit looks like it's been worked on before.

Hi, thank you.

Yes, the vent is perfectly clear. This dryer has powerful, unfettered flow to the outside.
