Yes, this model # is complete. This old dryer with retro backlight belongs to a matching set in a vacation rental. This set is in perfect, mint condition like it just came from the showroom. Rarely ever used in, I think, 40+ years. There is just 1 single knob in the center of the control panel. In my opinion, Maytag made it look like a faucet or shower knob.
There is a lone thermistat on the burner itself that is open, dead. It sits above the flame when the burner is on. The burner no longer comes on because this thermistat is out. By pulling off the 2 wires and putting them together I can jump-out this thermistat and the burner comes on.
I cannot find a replacement thermistat because LDG808 is too old. Parts house doesn't have it. Repair Clinic doesn't have it.
Does anyone have a part number for a thermistat that will fit and work properly?
