Very rarely do I walk away from a job.

when I do it is usually because the customer is a jackass.

I just price it out. if the customer really wants it fixed then they will pay whatever you ask.

many times i have tripled the labor and they jump at the price cause they want the problem resolved.

if they walk away its due to cost of the repair not your unwillingness to complete the repair.

do a lot of 1500 dollar compressor jobs on the high line units... hate doing it but love the money.

buy the mculloch mc1255 from amazon

it heats up in no time, you call refill on the fly and so far all 4 I have on the trucks are still up and going after a year.

one thing I added was steamer line for clearing frozen door water lines.

go to advance auto get a oil pressure gauge kit with the plastic line.

the 1/8 tubing will handle the heat and pressure.

disassemble the wall paper steamer drill out hole slightly on the insert and use super glue (let sit overnight) to bond the line to the hole you drilled.

the line works great I can spot heat right wear the ice is in the line , also use it for clearing frozen drains.
