I replaced the water valve and it seems to fill now however the water pump is extremely loud during filling. I can here it two rooms away. Is that normal?

The ice releases cleanly and cutter grid is clean also. All in all this is a very simple system and I would think its the filler valve or control board. It would be nice if these things worked off a water level selonid for as much as they cost. " will disconnect the evap thermistor to default to a 25 min freeze/4 min harvest" I am not sure I follow...............

I completely disassembled and cleaned the machine this past weekend. I also disassembled the water valve to check for possible clogging. However, I did not run the cleaning solution. There was no scale just white slim on the inlet tube and some lite mildew. I am not sure how the cleaning solution would affect the amount of water going through the valve to the reservoir.
