#292294 Kenmore Dryer (Model # 82142101) Won't Start or Turn On

Posted by tpoindexter on 29 April 2014 - 11:53 PM

I double-checked the house circuit breaker and there is nothing blown there. The 2 30amp circuits are linked together so if 1 blows they both trip.

Sometimes one will partly trip and not the other. You should turn them both off and back on again.

Then, if it doesn't start open the door and see if the drum turns freely by hand.

Way too much liability in doing a repair like that unless you get them to sign a release of liabilty form. And still, I think I would try to get out of it.

#280165 Kenmore 106.52532101 Fridge - squeaky noises

Posted by tpoindexter on 05 January 2014 - 11:12 AM

Thanks - looks like a simple job. Its only making noise occasionally - is it worth doing this proactively (you could go ahead and order the fan) or can I wait for more persistent noise? (yes you can) What will happen when the fan motor does fail? (You'll notice the fresh food side stop cooling first, unit will then stop making ice, then,  items in freezer will start to thaw)
