Parting Out KitchenAid Dishwasher kuds01ijbs

17 September 2011 - 04:10 PM

After 10 years of pain and suffering from this POS, we are expecting delivery of a new Bosch this Wednesday. The motor on this unit is failing (loud noise - and yes I have cleaned out the food grinder/filter, etc.). Other than the failing motor it does function. The control pad on the front is about 2 years old (replaced by me - thanks Samauri!), the upper rack is wonky and held in place by wire, but the rest of it is in good shape. It will be hauled away on Wednesday, but I will part it out if anyone would like to make offers on other parts.

I did not see a marketplace forum here, hence the posting in this forum. Apologies if I should just take this to eBay. Reasonable offers considered and shipping will need to be sorted of course. I don't want to rip anyone off, but want to be fair. Photos provided upon request.

Thanks,

JB

Maytag Dryer MD69306AWW Hum Only

24 October 2006 - 02:36 AM

Dryer hums at attempt to start.

Cylinder will rotate.

Opened up front and pully appears to be in place.

Cleaned all the crap out of it.

Still just a hum.

Grasshopper assumes motor is fubar.

Grasshopper does not want to replace motor. Not enough time in schedule.

If Grasshopper hires Master to fix, Grasshopper assumes it would cost just about as much as a new one.

Should Grasshopper just buy a new one?

Grasshopper unhappy.

Thanks Master.
