Maytag Bravo Electric Dryer MEDB400VQ0

19 November 2014 - 12:20 AM

I have checked everything in this dryer except the Motor. Diagnostics was giving error code of F06. I changed the board and that board gave an error code of F01, I guess the board is bad, Another one is on the way.

My question is can any one tell me how to check the motor?

Thanks for any help!

Maytag Washer MAVT236AWW

07 October 2014 - 06:54 PM

This may tag washer is the single belt type. It agitates during the spin and wash cycles  The motor never reverses and thus it does not spin. I was turning the tub by hand and it seemed to loosen up a bit so I p;urged it in and it spun like it was supposed to. When I opened the lid it stopped and will not spin again..

I don't know if the motor reverses to spin or what. Any help would be appreciated

Sears Kenmore washer 110.28422700

15 August 2014 - 11:38 PM

Can any one tell me how to easily get the control panel off this washer? The lid switch is bad. I got it out but can't get the control panel off. It does not have the screws in the front or in the back or under a plastic cover. . I don't remember seeing spring clips either. It does have two screws on each side under the bottom of the control panel. I can see them just can't easily get to them. I got one of them out . Problem is how to get it all back together after I replace the lid switch.

GE Monogram ZISB420

03 June 2014 - 10:24 PM

I am working on a GE Monogram ZISB420 Fridge that the freezer compartment is -4 degrees and the fridge compartment is 50 degrees. The damper door is frozen solid and the fridge has water droplets on the top. I replaced the evaporator fan motor Jan 17 this year. Could the evaporator fan be bad again and caused the damper door to freeze or is the damper just bad? The fan seems to blow like it should.

Thanks for any advice you may have.
