Checked the power switch, still on. Checked the breaker box, no problem there and all the wires are secure. Is there something else that might be causing the problem?

Thanks guys!  I'll give that a try when I have a few minutes (hours) free.

Ok, opened up the rear of the machine (about 10 screws) and there was the Thermal Fuse right by the blower assembly housing.  Pulled off the wires and tested it with the multimeter. It showed an open fuse.  Pulled it, drove down to the city and picked up a new one for 20 bux and put it in and easy breezy japaneezie got the dryer working again!  Cleaned out the dryer hose as best as I could and am going to make an appointment to have the ductwork cleaned this week!

Thanks for the help!  You guys saved me at least $200 bucks.

John

Yes, check the thermal fuse - also check for a grounded element

My humblest apologies Master,

I did connect up the switch with a jumper and the machine started agitating....followed by a round of forehead smacking....

The greenest green grasshopper...
