104 v toaster element only getting 70 v

03 June 2013 - 08:57 AM

I have a savory 4 slice pop down taoster.  One of the compartments does not toast.  I checke all of the elements for resistance and all had similar readings.  The voltage to all of the elements except one were 104 volts.  The last one measured 70 volts.  Does the element before it need to be replaced or caould it be the relay?  How would I test the relay?

Waring wct 805b toaster 1/2 working

01 December 2012 - 01:06 PM

I have a waring commercial toaster that has 4 slots controlled by 2 timers and boards. One side works fine, the other side only one of the elements gets hot. When it does it glows very bright red, much hotter than normal. I have tried replacing the element and the board the controls that side of the toaster neither of which helped.

Any suggestions?
