I keep reading about the ''Boot Camp''. When will it be available? I have that book also. Because I am just starting to get interested in appliance repair ,I thought it might help.So far I like it o.k..

Yea that's the video I was talking about. It would have been good to see the amp draw after the repair.Why not do another video sometimes on the Kiil a Watt ?

I have looked at the Kill a Watt myself.Sounds like a great diagnostic tool.I did see a video where the tech used the Kill a Watt to see if the defrost heater was working.

Durham, I didn't mean to run down your tester! I don't see why it would be an issue taking a cover off.Re wire a circuit no but remove a screw and take off a cover ,why not? I bet it was a great feeling though proving your point. I made a continuity tester that I like .I saw one a guy had made and I liked it so much, I made one myself.I might just buy me one of those 240 testers too!
