In Topic: MAYTAG MEDB850WQ0 DRYER CO Error Code

23 April 2015 - 07:37 PM

I did went back, I checked the voltage at P2-1/P2-3 around 4,93 Vdc from the User interface to the control, and because should be around 5Vdc-12Vdc, I thought should be enough, I was wrong. I installed the control board first, same result " CO" error code. Then I installed the new user interface an the dryer  worked , I run diagnostic and went through after 8:88 count. Unfortunately  the customer had to pay for both parts, I was wondering that if the voltage at P2 should be more than 5 Vdc  if less the UI could be bad. Anybody knows of a voltage spike suppressor for 240 Volts. Thank you.
