LG AC turns on and off constantly

25 June 2013 - 09:55 AM

Dear Sensei

I have an LG LWHD1209R that is close to 6+ years old. Plugged it in this summer ran fine for a few days then it started turning on and off intermittenly. More off than on.

I unplugged it for quite awhile to let the capicators discharge then plugged it in and it continues to turn on for awhile then  turns off and this goes on like a cycle.

When I say turn on and off the lights on the panel shut off and the lights turn back on when on. At times this can be just for a few seconds.

Do you have any suggestions oh great Sensei?

Frigidaire model # FTFB4000FS1 it wont drain or spin

21 February 2013 - 10:05 AM

I have Frigidaire model # FTFB4000FS1 it wont drain or spin. I think the problem started with a very heavy load. I cleaned the pump motor and drain hose and the filter basket. there was a few coins and hair and threads but not a lot. I also changed the wax motor (does the wax motor connecter need to be plugged in one way or does it make a difference if so how do you figure which way it plugs in). I was receiving e23 but when I replaced wax motor I got e21.I hear a hum when the washer should be draining

I would appreciate any help you can give me
