#304580 G E gas cooktop model JGP326WEV1WW

Sounds like leak detector might have caused this. Try unplugging each burner switch one at a time and see if clicking stops. If the clicking persists it would be the spark module but I'm betting its a burner switch that got a little wet.

Take the top off. Remove the fill hose at the tub. This should give you access to a screw or tab to release the baffle

Just pull the codes already!!

#303054 Jenn Air gas range JGS8850BDS re-ignition burner problem

Posted by JJ Surfer on 11 September 2014 - 01:57 AM

The igniter also becomes the flame sensor. The flame grounds out the circuit so the ignition module stops sending high voltage to the igniters. The burner switch is closed on any heat setting, there is not a "light" position. It sounds like the ignition module is failing
The editing is more complex on re-ignitions. Each switch and igniter wire has it's own position on the spark module

Check the thermistor. Do the resistance values of the thermistor match the tech sheet? The user interface would be the last thing to cause this issue.

#302891 rtw4640yq1 roper fills washes will not drain or spin

Try unplugging loads from the board, motor, lid switch etc and try the diagnostic mode again. If it still won't go into diagnostics then you have a bad control board.

If your sure pressure switch hose is not the problem I would replaced the pressure switch.

#302437 Fridgidaire ATF6000ES1 won't drain/wash/spin

Check the voltage right at the pump. It should have have 120 volts during the drain and spin. When it stops draining is there still voltage?

#302172 Bosch Dishwasher arm not spinning (SHE33N02uc/53)

Check if the impeller is clogged. Remove the filter screens and check with a mirror and flashlight. Long skinny needle nose pliers can work to remove seeds, paper and etc. removing the whole pump is a lot more work.

#301519 Whirlpool WTW5700XW0 temperature problem

Get the tech sheet! It's inside the cabinet on the front. There's a trick to lifting the top. There are 2 1/4 inch screws that hold the lid to the hinge like brackets. There is one more screw that holds a cover. After removing these you can move the lid slightly forward and up and then back and it is released. Put it in diagnostic mode(turn main knob right left right right right left right) or something like that and then you can put it into manual test. This way you can test each component and check for error codes. You can test cold valve, hot etc. if cold valve works it cold be the thermistor (telling the control the wrong temps) or it could be the control. The tech manual has steps to help you diagnose all those.

If this is like the one I worked on today in diagnostic step 15 it shows the status of the ice bin...01 full or missing or 02 empty.

#268926 dryer drum wont turn without help

Posted by JJ Surfer on 21 September 2013 - 12:35 AM

I'm betting its a 3 wire plug with a bad ground/neutral. A good test is to wire L1 and the neutral to a 110 outlet and you should be able to run the motor. This way you can show the customer they need an electrician

You should change the element, unless your 100% sure your adjustments will hold up to years of vibration

#268801 Whirlpool Duet Gas Dryer Motor Won't Run - please help

Jump the motor start relay, does the motor run? See motor circuit diagrams p9-2 to p9-1.

I'm not convinced the pressure switch is working properly. That particular switch has a high failure rate. This is a good time to take advantage of repair clinic 365 day return policy http://www.repaircli...ber=WFW9750WW00
