In Topic: Mangled Dryer Electric Receptacle causing No Heat and No Drum Light

Timer cam not closing only during the spin cycle, had neutral to the pump during the fill cycle, but the cam '8' failed only on the drain. At the house no tech sheet and no internet, had to manually trace wires and test for voltages the hard way, I downloaded this later on just to confirm my diagnosis of the bad timer, and that's a first for me noticing that the both the L1 and neutral are switched at the timer. I've worked on quite of few and these, but never had to trace the Neutral down like that.

Here's one I tackled today, no neutral to the drain pump during the spin cycle.  Let us see how our great one draws this out, I've already don't it with a pen, but I like the way Scott does it better, and of course I hate hearing myself talk.

(Just for fun)

I'll say what I found after, I think things like this make a great way to teach and learn both.
