Did LG make improvements to the sump? The motor shaft seal?

Im wanting to know how long the new sumps are holding up.

I AM also confirming that the whole sump replacement.. is the ONLY WAY TO DO THIS.. IF YOU BUY JUST THE MOTOR IT WILL GET WATER SATURATED AND BE NO GOOD in three months because of the Bad seal.

Im working on one now.. but have my doubts about how long the NEW SUMP WILL HOLD UP..

Now that yall have gotten me in the ballpark.. with great help I agree its probally snubber. Saw a tech bulletin on bent support plate.. will tear it down and check out.

Parts question? Have spring # as 21001598. Is there a kit of 6 number?

Runs good empty. Will run fine with load balanced.. I dont have that history of being the Old Maytag repairman..lol

I KNOw on a cabrio or Oasis if the suspension rods are weak they wont balance.. so that was my line of thinking.

I had sold it to a vet clinic.. they did not stay near it. So if it was unbalanced it walked.

I watched it for two loads no problem. Third load.. unbalanced moved clothes around and it was fine.

It has a nice big tub.. I told them the old units will walk.. whirlpools probably less because of the frame design.

Ill look into the snubber idea. Thanks for input
