Walter, techs as opposed to Diyers, should take the initiative and search the site for answers. Then the brethren here can further provide assistance... you should learn to use the wealth of information first.

If you searched the forums for "whirpool f6 e1" There is information already at this site that may help.

have you searched the dl section for a tech sheet or requested one in the proper forum?

If unable to find anything helpful or need some further explanation, we will be glad to help. Remember, for techs, this site is a workshop/learning academy, not just a tech help line.

A tech may come along and provide you with ideas/help and it takes me longer to write this response than it would to simply provide you with an answer. However just giving you the info will actually be a disservice to you.

Appliantology has an absolutely amazing wealth of information and usually someone has already experienced and talked about your issue... seek it out, read responses and the discussions and watchyour knowledge in the trade grow exponentially.

If you have any questions about searching this issue, let me know, then together we can search the site and discuss the gems of wisdom on your subject provided by the masters in previous threads.

Thanks Durham,

I had searched the site before I posted but was having trouble finding something I hadn't checked. I did find a tech sheet and video on cleaning the board connections at ccu and mcu, after I posted.

I will double check the wires and connectors when I go back.

Don't have experience with Asko, but have you checked the lid switch?

In Topic: Samsung FTQ307NWGX Humming that gets louder

They have the proper type of pan.

Transformer  finally came but was not the cause of the noise. Noise is from the Blower motor/fan that gets louder as it is on longer. Not heat related as from the customers description.

Do have a second problem though. The burners do not heat as fast as they did at first (quart of water to boiling in 1 1/2 mins, it now takes 2 -2 1/2 mins).

They had this problem once before still under factory warranty, inverter boards were replaced? Not sure from the wiring diagram if the "power board' is in that circuit also, or not related.

Issue now is performance, just not sure where the power stops
