Whirlpool WFW9250WW01 f6e1 error add a garment light stays on

09 February 2015 - 03:01 PM

Original call was for a "twisted door boot".  Found the tub had come off the right hand spring.

I got the tub remounted but the washer will not start. Gives an f6e1 error code. the door light comes on then the add a garment light came on also. Machine just sits there.  Wouldn't go into diagnostic.

  I checked connections and grounds.

Rear shock on left side is slightly bent from the motor hitting it. Wires seemed OK.

Looking for ideas on what to do next, and tech sheet service manual..

Thanks

Frigidaire FDB510LCB3 not moving water correctly?

22 January 2015 - 09:29 AM

Original reason for call was no fill... Found that the drain pump was slow and not getting all the water out. In testing I noticed that the upper wash arm didn't move. It does get water if I take the check valve out.

I'm wondering if the motor is getting weak?  So it doesn't create enough pressure to send water to both arms.?

Cleaned the sump and checked all the holes in spray arms.

Thanks

Maytag Bravos MTW6500TQ0 UL error code and basket won't float

06 January 2015 - 01:24 PM

This washer wasn't used most of the summer due to a septic issue. Now won't go through a full cycle without showing a UL error code. I watched video on tub removal but cannot get it to come out. It does move some after sitting with penitrating fluid for several days.

How do I get the tub loose without damaging the shaft and maybe bearing, or will I have to replace those to fix this.

Thanks

1930 to 1950? GE monogram Model RT-7

17 October 2014 - 10:36 AM

YEP its an antique. Hoping to find parts or at least a wiring diagram so I can build a start mechanism/ thermostat for it.

This has a top mount compressor, and clawfeet. This one is mounted in the wall of the kitchen so customer would like to fix. I believe it is a start problem but hadn't seen anything like it. Thermostat stopped working several years ago so they put it on a timer. That worked till this year.

Other numbers I found.

Type D-2-A16

Machine No 1399640

Use control cat. 11x737

Motor is 110volt 60cycle single phase.

See attached pictures (nope files were to big)

Amana NED7200TW t5 error code whats next?

17 October 2014 - 10:05 AM

Original call was for no heat and a broken part. Someone else had tried to help and broken the connection on the thermofuse, and  thermostat was missing.

I replaced the thermostat and thermofuse, checked thermistor etc, then put the dryer back together. It gave a T5 error code and would not run. Replaced the thermistor but no change.

Troubleshooting online says board may be bad but didn't specify which one?
