#322345 Samsung wf328aaw/xaa nd error,replaced pump,still no drain,error gone

Posted by Scottdottcom on 14 June 2015 - 09:41 AM

Recently came behind two techs who were unable to solve the same issue. I removed the drain line from the drain pump assembly and found that the check valve/ flapper had come loose from the assembly and was lodged in the drain line. Definitely worth the extra couple of bucks to replace the entire assembly and be done with the repair in one shot.

#322337 lg fridge model lrfd25850st

The back side of the LG freezer evaporator cover has a foam adhesive strip running the width of the cover. This adhesive strip has a foil face which starts to peel and small pieces of this foil will fall into the drain trough and work their way into the drain.

I take a dry towel, blot the adhesive strip and remove the loose flecks of foil and then take metal duct tape and cover the failing foil strip.

I have had great success with this 'fix'
