In Topic: Fixed the dryer?

12 June 2013 - 07:48 AM

Thanks. I do have rigid metal vent and good flow. I have had this dryer with no problems for several years. I'm just trying to figure out what could have actually fixed it since I didn't really do that much. The vent was good, the lint area was fine. I basically took the dryer apart including the drum to get to the thermistor and other components. All I did was clean around them. Can lint cause a short or something?
