Fixed the dryer?

11 June 2013 - 12:01 PM

My Duet Dryer was getting too hot so I went through the usual lint and duct cleaning. Then I decided to really clean it and assumed I might find a heating element short, thermistor issue, etc. I took it completely apart and cleaned all the components. It has worked for several loads now. That is good...but it baffles me. There wasn't really much lint in the duct or lint collector. There was a fair amount of lint on the thermistor and thermostat and something else that I didn't know what it was. So what do you think "fixed" it.
