In Topic: Compressor wont start, seems to be overload relay?

18 June 2013 - 07:22 AM

Sorry, model number is: Electrolux GS21HTZBC2

Here is the PTC relay and overload relay. They both seem to have continuity. I'm testing between the two blades on the PTC and between the blade and clip on the overload, they all beep.

The PTC doesn't rattle at all when shaken. The overload does rattle when shaken.

Does this indicate something else might be wrong?

Is the overload doing the click sound a few minutes after power is removed from the refrigerator?

These also don't seem to be original parts from what I can tell. It looks like someone already replaced the original PTC and overload.
