In Topic: LG WM1814CW stops shortly after cycle start

I ordered the Ball Sensor and the main PCB. Just replacing the Ball Sensor was not the answer. I tried running a load and in two minutes or so the washer stopped just like before. Installed the new PCB and the washer is running fine now. Might not have needed the Ball Sensor at this point but wasn't worth pulling the machine back out again to remove it. Life is good, clothes are clean. Thanks to ALL!

Thank you Samurai. I think you may be onto something.

No bent sheetmetal and it has not been laid on it back at all. I know where the part is though from giving the washer a thorough cleaning the other day after this all started.

Is there a way to bypass the ball sensor temporarily to verify it is a faulty sensor instead of the PCB?
