KENMORE DISHWASHER 65513593K600 GETS TOO HOT

I HAVE A KENMORE 65513593K600 WHICH I RECENTLY REPLACED THE TOUCHPAD. WHEN I STARTED IT UP AND RAN THROUGH THE CYCLE IT GOT VERY HOT (TOO HOT). I AM NOW THINKING THAT IS WHAT CAUSED THE FAILURE. WHAT WOULD CAUSE THE HEATING ELEMENT TO GO ABOVE TEMP? 


WHIRLPOOL DRYER LCR7620KO0 flame will not stay on

Help ! here are the symtoms

  1. ignighter glows
  2. flames come on
  3. after about a minute it stops
  4. only way to get flame back on open door and resset time

checked:

 

  1. high llimit
  2. high low sensor
  3. flame sensor

could it be the gas coils?

 

any help will be appreciated- 4 kids and no dryer is not fun.
