Repairing a GEHarmony

05 August 2013 - 04:01 PM

I have just spent $800+ having my GEHarmony washer serviced. The main board and the ASM board were replaced. The washer worked fine for about a month then it just stopped and the message " Notice there is a problem with this unit" came up. The service man came back and after doing a diagnostic he determined the unit needs the stater replaced. I have found the stater part on your website. My question is, is it very difficult to replace this part? I'm considering buying the part and replacing it myself.
