Ok, I removed the back cover in the freezer to get a view of the coils, and they looked pretty clean except for some frost at the top.  The freezer has been running, but not getting below 20 degrees F.  Photos of the coils are posted here... not sure if everyone can see them, but there's not much to see since the coils look pretty clean (bare metal on almost the entire length).

Since the fridge is about 13 years old, is a repair worthwhile, or is it time to blow $1000+ on a new fridge?  (This is a large side-by-side, 25.8 cu. ft.)

I haven't had a chance to pull off the back cover in the freezer yet, but the freezer temp is about 24 degrees, and the fridge is about 45 degrees.

OK.  We'll have to figure out how to temporarily store the frozen food.  How do I post a photo on this forum?
