GE Profile temps erratic and icemaker on fritz

13 January 2014 - 01:45 PM

Hi all, have GE Profile PFS22MIWCWW and this thing made ice like no ones business until last week.  The temps are vary from time to time.  The fridge goes from 37(which is were we keep it) to 42 and then back.  The freezer is at 26, we kept it at 0, and will not go lower.  Watched your videos, ordered a new motherboard and......same thing, dang!  I'm about ready to chuck it but I (and my wallet) hate to do that when I know it's probably a simple fix.  PS, the light on the icemaker is green.  I have reset the unit and it will kick out 1 batch of ice and that's it.  The light stays on but no more ice.  Any ideas before I go to the poor house, thanks y'all.
