Thanks for the advice, but.. I just went back and pulled the rubber check valve under the chopper housing. Turns out there was a pistachio shell stuck behind it, and it was also gunked up pretty good. I removed it ran the drain and all the water pumped out. I put the rubber check vavle back and still works, drains completely. No one in my family ever rinses their dishes before putting in the DW, so I guess I will know what to look for the next time this happens. I truely feel like Homer, time for a Duffs!
